Beware of agencies or professionals who pretend to be Google: Google will never call you to offer you its paid services!
More and more often we receive phone calls from so-called agencies that pretend to be Google, they report hypothetical errors in the pages and promise to position us first on the search engine.

A Google Partner is a freelancer, recognized by Google as a reliable center of expertise for the management and distribution of Google web marketing services, such as Adwords and Analytics, but it has nothing to do with organic positioning or SEO optimizations and management of Google+ and Google Business profiles - Google Map.
Anyone who claims to work for Google should be an employee and the phone number from which the call originates should have a Dublin area code (Google EMEA Headquarters - Customer Care) .
If you are contacted by email, Google's only domain is @google.com.
Lately, proposals for paid services have been gaining ground, justified by a hypothetical threat that the profile Google+ or Google Business can be a corporate "rubato" from competing companies: if the Google Business profile has already been registered/verified by others, simply send a communication to Google requesting ownership. Anyone who tries to make you believe that they have privileges or shortcuts to position yourself on the (natural, non-paid) search engine results page is deceiving you.
Google stessa invita i suoi utenti a segnalare tramite il link https://support.google.com/adwords/contact/thirdparty_complaint le agenzie o i professionisti che millantano di potervi posizionare in maniera organica, quindi senza acquistare annunci, nella pagina dei risultati del motore di ricerca, o tramite presunte "conoscenze" all'interno di Google Italia.
